WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has lashed out in the direction of Oleksandr Usyk, who holds the WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO world titles.
The two beltholders were in serious negotiations to collide on April 29th at Wembley Stadium in London.
On Wednesday, both sides confirmed that their negotiations had fallen apart over a disagreement regarding the monetary split for the rematch.
Both sides had agreed to a 70-30 split in Fury’s favor, but Usyk reportedly wanted a 70-30 split in his favor – if he won the first encounter, while Fury wanted a 50-50 split for the second fight.
Fury took to social media on Thursday to vent his frustrations.
“Usyk you little sh!thouse. You proper little sh!t bag, bog-eyed, gappy-teethed, ugly little rat bastard. You little slimy f—–. Tried all week to get out of it, begging for a rematch like a little girl. You got your rematch then didn’t even want to fight at that. You little sh!thouse p-ssy,” Fury erupted on social media.
“Always know, p-ssy, that you was never man enough to tangle with the ‘Gypsy King’ ever in your life. You little 14-stone coward, and your full team know it as well – and all the lawyers have got the full information, you little ugly bastard.”
Alexander Krassyuk, who promotes Usyk, told Sky Sports that the rematch clause was the tipping point where everything fell apart.
“The discussion about the rematch split was just the point where Usyk was fed up with everything. He said, ‘How many more times do I have to bow my head in front of Tyson. Why should I do this? It’s enough. Either he accepts what I say or I leave’. Tyson did not accept it and he left,” Krassyuk said.
