Guerrero looked like the stronger and hard punching fighter in the fifth. He rattled Berto more than once. Both had moments of success during the sixth, with both connecting with big shots. At the start of the seventh, Berto landed several big punches that Guerrero took well. Berto had the better seventh with the flashier punches landed.
The eight was a give and take round, fought in a slow manner. However, at the end of the round Berto was rocked by a hook and took some punches at the bell. In the ninth, Guerrero’s jab was doing a lot of solid work and there wasn’t much of not landed by either. The tenth and final round saw Guerrero have the edge the landed key punches.
