Photos: Jordan Gill Decks Michael Conlan, Takes Him Out in Seventh

Conlan was rocked and getting pounded against the ropes in the seventh, when the referee jumped in to wave off the fight.

The fight took a bad turn early on, when Conlan was dropped hard by a left hand in the second round.

Conlan was trying to bounce back after suffering a knockout loss earlier this year, at the hands of IBF featherweight champion Luis Alberto Lopez. 

The Irish Olympian event changed trainer – from Adam Booth to Pedro Diaz – but it wasn’t enough to bounce back.
