The scores are 98-93, 97-94 and 96-94 for Chisora.
The contest was the first for Chisora since getting battered and stopped by WBC champion Tyson Fury in December of 2022.
Chisora came out pressing forward and pushing Washington back. Chisora was jabbing his way in, with Washington looking to counter over the top. They were trading at times. Chisora was connecting with the harder punches.
In the second, a clash of heads opened up a cut above the right eye of Chisora. Washington was landing the better punches and countering well. Both had their moments in the third and fourth.
During the fifth, Chisora seemed to shake up Washington more than once with hard punches. In the sixth, Chisora was in full control and he bullied Washington. Not much coming from Washington in the seventh, with Chisora just bullying him. Chisora continued to press the pace in the eight, with Washington not doing enough.
The ninth saw Chisora doing most of the work and not much of anything from Washington. In the tenth and final round, Chisora was doing more work. Washington was more active than he’d been in previous rounds, but unable to make a dent in Chisora.
