Photos: Anthony Yarde Returns, Drills Jorge Silva in Two Rounds

Wembley Arena, Wembley – Light heavyweight contender Anthony Yarde (24-3, 23 KOs) returned to the ring on Saturday night and blew away late replacement Jorge Silva in two rounds.

It was Yarde’s first bout since suffering a knockout loss in his world title fight against unified world champion Artur Beterbiev in January.

Against Silva, Yarde was in full control from the very start. In the second he battered him punches to score a knockdown – with the referee waving off the fight as Silva appeared to be in no condition to continue with the fight.

The bout was showcased as the co-featured attraction to the heavyweight rematch between Zhilei Zhang and Joe Joyce.
