Peter Queally and Patricky Pitbull battle for lightweight gold in Dublin – Fighters Only

Championship gold is up for grabs at the 3Arena in Dublin as Ireland’s Peter Queally takes on Brazil’s Patricky Pitbull in the main event of Bellator 270.

The battle for the vacant lightweight strap headlines an 11-fight card at the atmospheric venue, which generates one of the most electric environments anywhere in the MMA world, and the Irish fans are set to be out in force to cheer on a clutch of homegrown stars at the sharp end of the fight card.

The night’s co-main event sees Irish featherweight contender James Gallagher look to push himself one step closer to a title shot as he takes on former title challenger Patchy Mix, while Queally’s SBG teammate, Portugal’s former title challenger Pedro Carvalho, returns to action looking to bounce back into the win column against 53-fight veteran and two-time title challenger Daniel Weichel.

Kicking off the main card is another Irish-based fighter, Dutch striker Ilias Bulaid, who takes on French debutant Georges Sasu in a featherweight showcase.
