The Oktagon cage is open for business once again, with the Czech-Slovak promotion returning to Germany for Oktagon 44, which takes place Saturday night in Oberhausen.
Ahead of fight night, the fighters took to the scale for the official weigh-ins, with the headlining title fight between Pavol Langer and Alexander Poppeck made official after both men hit championship weight for the matchup.
Langer and Poppeck will do battle for the interim light heavyweight title, and both fighters arrived on the scale right on the 205-pound championship limit.
The co-main event features a Tipsport Gamechanger tournament quarter-final, with Bojan Velickovic and Christian Jungwirth coming in on the non-title welterweight limit of 171 pounds. The night’s other quarter-final, between Marcel Grabinski and Andreas Michailidis, also saw the two combatants weigh-in at 171 points each.
The remaining athletes on the card all weighed in at their contracted weights to make the 10-fight card official for Saturday night.
Oktagon 44 streams live on DAZN and via Oktagon.tv.
