Unbeaten Russian Olympian Petr Khamukov returns Saturday against tough veteran Vaughn Alexander.
Khamukov came in under the lightweight limit at 134.4 pounds for their 10-round main event at The Fox Theatre in Redwood City, CA. His opponent, Alexander came in the same at 160lbs.
The Celtic middleweight title is on the line for St. Patrick’s Day weekend – as Tommy Hyde will face the current champion, Craig McCarthy.
Two fighters missed weight with neither opting to lose anymore. Featherweight Vic Pasillas coming off a three-year layoff missed weight by .4 lbs. Manuel Jaimes is coming off nearly a ten-month layoff and missed weight by .4 in the lightweight division.
