Miura Boxing is set to make a thrilling return to the ring with an array of spectacular fights on April 6, live on TVC Deportes in Mexico (9 pm CST), Top Rank on ESPN+ for USA and Canada (8 pm ET), and DAZN for the rest of the world (8 pm ET) from Sala Urbana venue in Naucalpan, State of Mexico.
The evening’s main bout will feature a pair of electrifying punchers in Jimerr Espinosa and Ángel Martínez in a 10-round super lightweight contest.
The event is presented by Miura Boxing, a promotional company headed by Manuel Garrido, and sponsored by Libertad Soluciones de Vida, Tequila Region de Mexico, and Inmmobila.
Espinosa (15-2, 14 KOs) is an explosive knockout artist hailing from Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. The 26-year-old Espinosa has proven himself as a force to be reckoned with at the top prospect level. He is determined to continue his upward trajectory versus an opponent whose achievements mirror his own.
Martinez (15-3, 14 KOs) has also scored knockouts in all but one career victory. The formidable 25-year-old from Mexicali, BC has earned a reputation for ferocious punching power. Both fighters promise an exhilarating display of skill and power in the ring.
INTERNATIONAL CO-MAIN
In the co-main event of the evening the undefeated Californian prospect, Leonardo Ruiz (13-0-0, 8 KOs), will face Monterrey’s Oziel “Ruso” Santoyo (16-2-1, 9 KOs) in an eight-round fight at super welterweight.
UNDERCARD
Mexico City’s Ernesto Salcedo (15-4-0, 12 KOs) returns to the ring to face Puebla-born Agustín “Chato” Pérez (12-3-1, KOs), eight rounds at super bantamweight.
In another international fight, Russian prospect, Valerii Oganisian (8-0-0, 5 KOs) will face Colombian Carlos “Travieso” Suárez (15-2-0, 12 KOs), eight episodes at super lightweight.
In a fight scheduled eight rounds at super flyweight, Colombian Vieris Ortega (10-1-0, 10 KOs) will fight against Jalisco’s Jorge “Pajarito” Villalobos (14-2-3, 8 KOs).
The American upcoming heavyweight Damazion Vanhouter (5-0-0, 3 KOs), will face Mexican Cristian Dávalos (4-2-0, 2 KOs) six rounds.
Californian Albert González (7-0-0, 3 KOs) will face Joel Mora (6-3-4, 4 KOs), six rounds at a catchweight of 127 lbs.
Venezuelan Alfonso “Vikingo” Flores (12-2-1, 9 KOs) will fight with against Luis “Rey” Reyes (4-1-1, 1 KOs), six rounds at super middleweight division.
Jesús Piña from Durango (22-8-1, 17 KOs) will face Mexico City’s Valentín Hernández (10-5-1, 5 KOs), six rounds at super welterweight.
