London – In a crossroads middleweight showdown, Hamzah Sheeraz (19-0, 15 KOs) made a big statement by destroying Liam Williams (25-5-1, 20 KOs) in one round.
In the very first minute of the opening round, Sheeraz dropped Williams with a quick left hand. Sheeraz was working off the jab and rocking the legs of Williams with big shots. Another combination, punctuated by an uppercut, sent Williams down for a second time. Sheeraz went after a hurt Williams with more punches and the towel was thrown in.
