In the ESPN main event, former unified lightweight world champion George Kambosos scored a majority decision over IBO Maxi Hughes. Hughes was 98 of 338, 29% in total punches compared to 90 of 471, 19% for Kambosos.
Kambosos held a 12 connect advantage in power punches, while Hughes held a 20 connect advantage in jabs. Scores were 114-114, 117-111 and 115-113.

In an IBF lightweight eliminator, with the IBO title at stake, George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) struggled to win a twelve round majority decision over Hughes.
Kambosos, in his Top Rank debut, was coming off back to back defeats to current undisputed lightweight world champion Devin Haney.
