Euro News: Sandor Martin, Sadjo vs. De Carolis, Prat vs. Baraou, More

French Y12 was the sole bidder at the purse bids for EBU super middleweight champ Kevin Lele Sadjo’s mandatory defense of the title against Giovanni De Carolis.

Y12 bid 87,8700 Euro to be split 60-40 in the favor of the champion. Date and site is to be announced.

De Carolis (31-10-1) will first go through with his own promotion in Ostia on July 7 where he fights Brazilian Douglas Ataide. 

Lele Sadjo is 20-0 with 18 early endings and is nicknamed “The Phenomen”.

Europrom, headed by Gerard Teysseron, now holds the rights to stage for EBU super welterweight Milan Prat’s mandatory defense of the title against German Abass Baraou (13-1).

This fight was headed for Germany when Wasserman Sports won the purse bids held in April but apparently couldn’t finalize the deal and the second highest bidder, Europrom, now gets the chance to promote the fight.

French Club Dunkerque Ring were the sole bidder for Priscilla Peterle’s mandatory defense of the EBU female super welterweight title against former WBC champion Patricia Berghult (16-1). 

CDR bid 6,800 Euro to be split 60-40 in favor of the champion, who is 8-0.

Spanish super lightweight Sandor Martin (40-3) meets Arblin Kaba (15-3-1) on July 15 in Verbania (Italy) on an OPI since 82 Promotion. This is Martin’s first fight since the close and disputed loss to two-division world champion Teofimo Lopez.

Headlining the show is super middleweight Ivan Zucco (17-0) who is in against the always tough Frenchman Baptiste Castegnaro (12-24).
