Croatian super middleweight Luka Plantic (7-0) defends the WBC International Silver title against Englishman Jack Cullen (26-5-1) on April 6 in Aschaffenburg (Germany).

Plantic was, as reported by BoxingScene, first set to fight Italian Ivan Zucco in January but Zucco withdrew.

There were no bidders at the purse bids today for EBU super welterweight champ Priscilla Peterle’s mandatory defense against April Hunter (7-1).

The EBU has set February 22 for a second try.

Peterle (9-0) won the title almost two years ago but has yet to defend it.

Middleweight Ilari Kujala (4-0) is in against Frenchman Dimitri Trenel (9-4) in the headliner of Elite Boxing’s show in Kirkkonummi (Finland) on March 2.

In the co-feature super middleweight Anton Embulaev (6-0) square off against Latvian Andrejs Baranovs (2-0).

Armand Boxing Promotion, headed by former WBO middleweight champ Armand Krajnc, will promote a show in Malmo (Sweden) on April 13. 

According to Swedish law all fights over 12 minutes duration need special permission from the Martial Arts Delegation and they must have the application 60 days ahead of the event. So, with this in mind the preliminary headliner feature light heavyweight Oscar Ahlin (25-2) vs Belgian Timur Nikarkhoev (27-6) with the vacant WBFed I-C title at stake.

Also, through some Swedish connections, is maybe none other than Maurice Hooker (27-3-3) in a scheduled eight rounder against Slovenian Andrej Bakovic (14-0).

Hooker was last seen in the ring in 2022 when he lost to Blair Cobbs.
