German heavyweight Agit Kabayel, as already reported by BoxingScenecom, will headline a SES promoted show in Bochum on January 28.
It should be noted that Kabayel is also a mandatory challenger for the vacant EBU title along with former stablemate Peter Kadiru as co-challenger. The EBU has set November 17 as the deadline for purse bids or agreements.
An all-German fight for the vacant EBU heavyweight title sounds like a perfect headliner for the SES show but time will tell how it works out.

On or not? Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller appears on Instagram to be back in the United States after a fight in Romania was cancelled. There’s also a fight vs Awadh Tamim announced for November 4 in Dar es Salaam. The two heavyweights appear on the poster for the show but according to Miller’s promoter, Dmitry Salita, he’s never heard anything about it.
However, in Stockholm, Sweden, Tamim and his trainer Harry Jansson have a contract for the fight but no tickets have been sent. It’s about a 24 hour trip to get to Tanzania from Stockholm – and how Miller would be able to get to East Africa in time for Friday’s show looks a bit difficult to put it mildly.
