Belgian super bantamweight Geram Eloyan (9-4) defends the EU title against Italian Vincenzo La Femina (12-0) at the Alfasun Indoor Arena in Roosdal on Saturday (June 17). This is the first defense of the title he won earlier this year by beating Frenchman Florian Montels in France.
In the co-feature super lightweights Hovhannes Martirosyan (14-0) and Hassan Amzile (6-1) clash with the vacant IBO International title. They fought in the amateurs back in 2015 with Martirosyan winning on a TKO in the second round.

Fight Life’s promoter Kamran Kabinejad said ‘no thank you’ to allow former WBC super welterweight champ Patricia Berghult travel to France and fight EBU title holder Priscilla Peterle for 40% of the 6,800 Euro that Club Dunkerque Ring won the purse bids with.
According to Kabinejad he had no info on that the purse bids took place on June 14 and even so, the money offered was much too small to get the ex-champ on the road. Fight Life have plans on their own for Berghult which may begin with a fight at home late September.

Spanish super middleweight champ Jose Luis Navarro Jr (8-1, 8 KO) is back in action after a brief layoff due to a foot injury on August 6 in Benalmadena. Navarro is in against veteran Jose Manuel Lopez Clavero in a scheduled six-rounder.

Danish network TV 2 confirmed today that WBO female bantam champ Dina Thorslund (19-0) will face WBC title holder Yuliahn Luna Avila (25-3-1). The fight will go ahead early September in Denmark with a site to be announced next week.

41-year old former EBU welter champ Jackson Osei Bonsu (43-7-1) was seriously injured in a traffic accident a few days ago and suffered life threatening injuries. It’s now reported by media in Belgium that he is out of danger.
Osei Bonsu came close to the really big fights but suffered crucial losses at the wrong time in his career that lasted from 2001 through 2013.

Plant City, FL – Franklin Gonzalez was stopped for the first time in his professional career by a game Saul Sanchez in the sixth round of the main event.
In the co-feature, Jonhatan Cardoso blasted out unbeaten prospect Oscar Alvarez in three rounds.
Cardoso came out throwing and landing shot after shot in round three. Alvarez became bloodied eighty seconds into the round from a light clash of heads. Soon after the onslaught began and Cardoso wouldn’t let up landing big shot after big shot. The corner was waving the fight off but the referee couldn’t see them but he soon stopped the fight himself.
