In the Showtime PPV main event, it took David Benavidez three rounds to figure out Demetrius Andrade but after that it was all the Mexican Monster.

In the first three rounds, Benavidez only landed 11 power punches and over the next three rounds landed 91 power punches. Andrade’s corner saw enough after the sixth round.

Pursuant to a recent WBC order, Benavidez is now the mandatory challenger to undisputed champion Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez.
