Pick It: TBRB #7 Sandor Martin vs. Jose Felix (Friday, DAZN, 1:30 PM EST)
April 9th is one of the biggest days on the boxing calendar this year so far. Before we get there, we have one of those calm before the storm weeks. In Jr. welterweight action, fans can ask whether the winner of arguably 2021’s biggest upset is a man to watch or a man we remember once.
Spain’s 28-year old Sandor Martin (39-2, 13 KO) traveled to the US and upended former multi-division titlist Mikey Garcia in his last bout. Now Martin returns to main event action against Mexico’s 29-year old Jose Felix (39-5-1, 30 KO). Martin has never been stopped while Felix has been stopped twice, both in his last six fights. 25-year old Spanish 2016 Olympian Samuel Carmona (6-0, 4 KO) is also in action at Jr. bantamweight.
