Harper retains the WBA title and the WBO strap remains vacant.
The scores were 97-93 for Harper, and scores of 95-95, 95-95.
It was closely contested after three rounds, with close boxing affair. The fourth began with Harper standing her ground more often, as she was mostly on the move in the first three and looking for counters. They were engaging more often, with both having success.
Ast the fight played out, it was close but Harper seemed to have a small edge with her boxing. Braekhus rallied strong in the ninth and connected with accurate punches on Harper. In the tenth and final round. Braekhus continued to rally, with Harper holding her ground and willing to trade back.
