The scores were 98-92, 100-90 and 99-91.
The fight began as a technical boxing match. They were feeling each other out and counter punches. In the second it was more of the same with both picking their spots in a calculated manner. In the third, Fanyan connected with a very solid hook that Azim took well.
Fanyan was getting more confident in the fourth and at times was taking the fight to Azim, who was willing to exchange. The fifth was give and take, with both having their moments. The rounds were close as the fight played out. Azim was picking up the pace in the eight and began to connect with several hard shots.
Azim was controlling things with the harder shots and controlled pressure in the ninth. In the tenth and final round, Azim continued to hold court with the heavier punches and dictating the action.
