Baumgardner (15-1 7 KOs) headlined in her hometown for the first time as she made the second defense of her undisputed crown and avenged the only loss of her career against Linardatou (14-2 6 KOs), the Greek who defeated her over eight rounds in July 2018.
Also on the card, Cuban amateur sensation Andy Cruz made his professional debut with a dominant ten round unanimous decision win over former world title challenger Juan Carlos Burgos. Cruz, a 2020 Olympic gold medal winner, controlled the fight from start to finish with his boxing ability.
Michigan heavyweight Jermaine Franklin returned to action after losing tough decisions in back-to-back fights in London, England against Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte, and he picked up a ten round unanimous decision win over unbeaten Mexican Issac Munoz.
