Ennis sticking a hard jab to the head and body in the first. In the second, Ennis began to attack with the heavier punches and was pushing Villa back. The nose of Villa was bleeding from all of the hard jabs.
Ennis was landing heavy blows on Villa in the third. Villa was able to land a few hard shots, but Ennis took them and went back to landing big punches. The fourth saw Villa applying a lot of pressure, but he was being outworked by Ennis. In the fifth, Villa went back to applying pressure and going after the body of Ennis. Villa was able to land several hard shots, but Ennis was connecting back with heavy counters.
They were fighting on the inside in the sixth, with Ennis connecting the more accurate punches and using movement in the second half. He rocked Villa bad with a series of big shots and forced Villa to hold on to avoid getting knocked out. Villa was able to weather the storm, but he walked back to the corner on unsteady legs.
In the seventh, Villa came out applying pressure and got rocked by a big uppercut. Ennis was landing heavy blows on Villa, who somehow managed to stay on his feet. Villa’s face was bloodied and bruised. During the eight, the jab of Ennis was giving Villa issues. Villa was looking to get inside and land something big. Ennis was able to take Villa’s shots and came back with even bigger punches to shake up the legs of Villa.
The ninth saw an inside fight. Villa was able to land a few punches, with Ennis doing more damage. The tenth had Ennis jabbing and moving as Villa was on the hunt. Ennis landed a big combination that send Villa crashing down and the fight was waved off.
