BRAVE CF’s International Combat Week preparations continue with the release of the official poster for their showpiece event.
BRAVE CF 57 will take place on Friday, March 11 at Khalifa Sports City Arena in Manama, Bahrain, with the promotion stacking the deck with three title fights on the card.
Headlining the event is a battle for the bantamweight title, as Arab superstar Hamza Kooheji takes on Canada’s Brad Katona for the vacant 135-pound strap.
The co-main event sees the return of middleweight champion Mohammad Fakhreddine, who steps up a weight class to battle Algeria’s Mohamed Said Maalem in a rematch for the vacant light heavyweight title.
The first bout between the pair took place at BRAVE CF 52 in Milan, Italy, where the local commission overturned Said Maalem’s victory after identifying illegal shots in the finishing sequence that were missed by the referee on the night.
With the 205-pound belt still vacant, the pair will face off again looking for a clean, clear result as they look to settle their rivalry in the rematch.
The third title fight of the night will see former lightweight champion Amin Ayoub bid to recapture championship gold as he faces Abdisalam Kubanychbek for the interim lightweight title, with reigning champion Ahmed Amir forced out of action due to injury.
