Ryomsgard, Denmark – TK Promotions joined forces with the local amateur boxing club and they produced a good show with an almost full house. Unfortunately, the main event, a cruiserweight clash between Jeppe Moller Christensen and Samo Jangirov, fell through when Christensen had to pull out due to injury but the event went ahead anyway.
In the main event, super welterweight Mikkel Nielsen (12-2) outscored and outworked defensive minded Nicaraguan Greyvin Mendoza (7-10-3). Mendoza had the skills to do a lot more than he did, but Nielsen kept the pressure up and was a clear winner at the end. It was scored 79-73 on all cards.
Featherweight prospect Mikkel Gribshold (3-0) impressed in winning over tough Colombian Jeison Cervantes (12-32-3). Cervantes was down twice in the third but got up and battled it out to the end. Gribsholt did his best to close the show but had to settle for a points win on scores of 40-34 on all cards.
Super welterweight Victor Hoveling (2-0) stopped Englishman Charles Aristide (0-7) at 1.10 of the first round. Aristide got caught against the ropes, covered up well as Hoveling opened up – but as Aristide didn’t even attempt to punch back the referee had no option but to stop the fight.
Lightweight Ahmad El Ahmad (2-0) outscored Georgian veteran Khvicha Gigolashvili (19-65-1) in a fast paced four-rounder. El Ahmada dominated the action but could not hurt his opponent.
Cruiser Steffen Rorstrom, a local man, made his pro debut and got an easy win over Englishman Daniel Coker, now 0-3. The fight was stopped in the second round when Coker went down for the third time in the fight but at no time did the Englishman appear to be even stunned.
