UFC 249 is officially going ahead on May 9 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dana White has announced an absolutely stacked card for the event, which will take place behind-closed-doors due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tony Ferguson and Justin Gaethje will face off for the interim lightweight championship in the headline fight of the evening.
Elsewhere, the likes of Henry Cejudo, Dominick Cruz, Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone, Anthony Pettis and Francis Ngannou will be entering the Octagon in what looks like one of the best cards in UFC history.
White has also confirmed to ESPNthat two more UFC events on May 13 and May 16 will be taking place behind-closed-doors at the VyStar Arena.
“They want to fight. People are hitting us up and want to fight,” White told ESPN during an Instagram Live.
“We’re putting together three cards in a week. People who want to fight are going to get fights.”
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a fight week on our hands!
