Icelandic heavyweight Gunnar Kolbeinn Kristinsson (13-0) is back in action on Saturday in Vienna (Austria). Who he will fight isn’t clear yet. If all goes well Kolbeinn will return to the US for a bigger fight in November.
Kolbeinn signed with Salita Promotions in 2020 but has only had two fights since then. He’s been in camp with both Tyson Fury and Joseph Parker while training with Sugarhill Steward as coach.
The show in Vienna is promoted by Harald Pfingstl, who headlines the event fighting under the name of Harry Strikez. Should all go well Pfingstl / Strikes have a fight lined up in Jarvenpaa, Finland, on November 4.
